How to build a weekly schedule
- Pick the week, add a row per employee.
- Type each shift as start-end: 9-5, 7a-3:30p or 14:00-22:00. Leave days off blank.
- Set the unpaid break rule (for example 30 minutes on shifts over 6 hours) so hours match payroll.
- Watch the Hours column: anyone over 40 is flagged in red because federal overtime applies.
- Print it for the break room or download a CSV.
Nothing is uploaded and there is no account; the schedule is saved in this browser only. When two people trade a shift, record it on a shift swap form. For fixed rotations like DuPont or 2-2-3, use the shift schedule maker.
Use Previous week and Next week to move between weeks: each week is saved separately, and a new week starts as a copy of the one you were on, so repeating schedules take seconds.
Collect hours first with the employee availability form, and print the result on the work schedule template.

Questions
How do I avoid overtime when scheduling?
Keep each person at 40 hours or less in your workweek, counting shift swaps and extra shifts. The maker flags anyone over 40.
