What it is: a weekly roster with a row per employee, a column per day and an hours column, sized to print on one landscape page.
Posting a weekly schedule
Write shifts as start and end times (7-3:30) or as codes explained at the bottom. Add each person's hours for the week in the last column and check it against 40 before posting, since hours over 40 in a workweek are overtime. Some cities and states have predictable scheduling rules that require posting schedules in advance; check your local labor department.
To build it on screen with totals and overtime warnings, use the employee schedule maker.
Restaurant? The restaurant schedule template splits front and back of house; hospital units can use the nurse schedule template.
Prefer to build it on screen with colors and totals? Try the schedule maker.
